BIG PINE KEY
Located at mile marker 30 on the overseas highway, Big Pine Key is just a short drive from Key West or Marathon. Part of what makes the fishing here so good is the location of the Keys and the flats that make up where the Gulf of Mexico meets the Atlantic ocean. The Florida Keys is arguably the best place in the world for anglers to catch a grand slam, but is also one of the most challenging fisheries anywhere in the world.
